SMS grown up: your logo, images, carousels and buttons.
The single biggest problem with SMS in India is that the customer cannot tell your message from a scam. A six-character header means nothing to most people, and the thread looks identical to the fraud sitting above it. RCS changes that at the identity level: the brand name, the logo and the verified badge are issued after Google checks who you are, so the customer sees a known sender before reading a word.
On top of that it is simply a better message. Image carousels to show several products, reply chips and action buttons for Track order, Pay now or Book a slot, and read receipts so your analytics finally know the difference between delivered and seen. Where a handset does not support RCS the platform falls back to your ordinary SMS template automatically, so one campaign covers your whole list without you managing two.
- Verified sender — brand name, logo and colour instead of an unknown six-character header.
- Rich cards and carousels to show several products or plans inside one message.
- Suggested replies and action chips — Track order, Pay now, Book slot, Call us.
- Read receipts and typing indicators so you know the message was actually seen.
- Automatic SMS fallback when the handset does not support RCS.
